The course comprises distance learning
modules for Anatomy & Physiology and the
theory and practical application of Amatsu
therapy, 10 two day practical workshops per
annum for two years (eight modules, revision
sessions and examinations) completion of case
studies and directed homework. Each module
covers a different area of the body. Sessions
on body language assessment, personality
profiling, basic counselling skills and practical
guidance on how to market and build a clinic
will also be provided.
Year one – Anma. The first year concentrates on learning skills of
palpation, appraisal of clients problems, soft
tissue and mobilisation techniques to correct
those problems. At the end of year one, after
successfully completing set homework,
carrying out the required number of case
studies and passing theory and practical
exams, a qualification to practice Anma is
attained.
Year two - Seitai. In the second year, study of appraisal
techniques continues and the practical aspects
of correcting the ligamentous system of the
body are also taught. At the end of year two,
after successful completion of homework, case
studies and exams, the full qualification in
Amatsu Therapy is attained.
